"I think he thought that the object of opening the mind is simply opening the mind.  Whereas I am incurably convinced that the object of opening the mind, as of opening the mouth, is to shut it again on something solid."  G.K. Chesterton:  Autobiography.

St Genevieve

stgenevieve

Loving Saint Genevieve, fair patron saint of Paris, lead us in your path of courage and valor. May we fearlessly defend what is right and true, may we turn not away from the fear and anguish of others but stand beside them as you did, and by your holy example help us to find eternal life among the warrior princes of the archangels, and all who serve God and His truth without reservation.
Saint Genevieve, be our beacon and our light in darkness. Amen.

I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic grammar and high schools.  I attended a Big Ten University where I studied journalism.  I then went on to receive my law degree.  I practiced law for several years before I met a real man and got married.  I am a former resident of Los Angeles and Detroit.  I currently reside in a small town and have the pleasure of being a stay-at-home mother who homeschools her children.  I also have the great privilege of attending the Traditional Latin Mass.

To be perfectly clear I love the One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and all of its "trappings",...

"...So far as a man may be proud of a religion rooted in humility, I am very proud of my religion;  I am especially proud of those parts of it that are most commonly called superstition.   I am proud of being fettered by antiquated dogmas and enslaved by dead creeds(as my journalisitic friends repeat with so much pertinacity), for I know very well that it is the heretical creeds that are dead, and that it is only the reasonable dogma that lives long enough to be called antiquated."  G.K. Chesterton

God is REAL, MIGHTY and ALL POWERFUL.--He literally-- in one moment of time-- rescued me from the abyss and I owe Him my everything.

Thank you for visiting.

Genevieve
