Iris Robinson, is the chair of the Stormont health committee and is married to Peter Robinson, who took office as the First Minister of Northern Ireland on Thursday.
During a radio interview with the BBC she had the politically incorrect audacity to assert that gay people could be "turned around".
"Homosexuality is not natural. My Christian beliefs tell me that it is an abomination and that is very clear. It is an offence to God, an offensive act and something that God abhors. I am clearly not saying that I want people to thrash the living daylights out of a homosexual man or women, because I don't."
"She said: "I have a very lovely psychiatrist who works with me in my offices and his Christian background is that he tries to help homosexuals - trying to turn them away from what they are engaged in."
From Northern Ireland News: "John O'Doherty, a South Belfast District Policing Partnership member has revealed he has filed a complaint with the police over the comments, saying: "People like Mrs Robinson need to learn that their comments hav Read More...
Believe it or not the radical gay agenda is moving into elder care and nursing homes. Promoters of sodomy and perversity want to protect those who are ailing and dying from Christians who may attempt to proselytize or discourage the elderly from coming out of the closet. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised that the radical left would attempt to prevent a soul from the opportunity to repent in one's final days since they are in league with the prince of this world.
Excerpts from dailymail: "Care homes for the elderly should discourage Christian workers who do not believe in gay rights, say inspectors."
"State inspectors say they should "support" homosexuals so they feel "able to come out if they wish".
Those applying for jobs should be "assessed" to ensure they have the right attitude to equality, the Commission for Social Care Inspection says.
It wants care homes to stop referring to husbands and wives and use "neutral" Read More...

From Scotsman: A Devout Catholic couple who object to their marital status being listed alongside civil partnerships have won the first round in an employment tribunal action against Scotland's largest police force.
Lucille and Frank McQuade, who have been married for 26 years, claim that Strathclyde Police is guilty of religious discrimination after altering its civilian employee records to change their status from "married" to "married/civil partnership".
Speaking after an earlier tribunal hearing, Mrs McQuade, 46, who until recently worked as a CID clerk with the force, said: "The concept of homosexuality is not compatible Read More...
From WND: "The ruling came in a case brought against Phillip and Mary Long over the education being provided to two of their eight children. They are considering an appeal to the state Supreme Court, because they have homeschooled all of their children, the oldest now 29, because of various anti-Christian influences in California's public schools.
"The decision from the 2nd Appellate Court in Los Angeles granted a special petition brought by lawyers appointed to represent the two youngest children after the family's homeschooling was brought to the attention of child advocates.
The Appeals court stated: "[T]he trial court had found that "keeping the children at home deprived them of situations where (1) they could interact with people outside the family, (2) there are people who could provide help if something is amiss in the children's lives, and (3) they could develop emotionally in a broader Read More...
The choices for American president are lamentable and our lack of leadership is a direct result of our wicked and adulterous culture. A culture that accepts and even promotes adultery, fornication, abortion and homosexuality as the norm cannot produce godly leaders. Instead we are left with those who disregard God's commands.
On the Democratic Ticket-- it is beyond me why a major percentage of the American electorate would be willing to re-admit the Clinton team back into the White House. And a team it would Read More...
An employment tribunal has ordered an Anglican bishop to undergo equal opportunities training after losing a discrimination case against a homosexual who sought a position as a youth worker.
The Bishop of Hereford, the Right Rev Anthony Priddis, is alleged to have discriminated against John Reaney, 42, by failing to appoint him as a church youth worker. The tribunal also ordered the Bishop to pay Reaney £47,345 in compensation and stated that the staff in the diocese of Hereford should also receive equal opportunities training.
Ben Summerskill, the chief executive of Stonewall, the radically pro-homosexual organization that funded the claim against the bishop, said that this would involve helping the Bishop to develop an understanding of how to deal with people from minority communities as well as explaining to him that asking intimate questions about people’s private lives is not an appropriate thing to do during a job interview.
Mr Summerskill also said: “Normally training would take half a day or a day but [the Bishop] might need Read More...
"The written law is said to be given for the correction of the natural law, either because it supplies what was wanting in the natural law; or because the natural law was perverted in the hearts of some men, as to certain matters so that they esteemed those things good which are naturally evil, which perversion stood in need of correction." St Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica (13th cent)
How times have changed--t he written law has now become the enabler and even the promoter of man's perversities.
Excerpt from the Telegraph: "Health authorities are considering paying up to £15,000 to surrogate mothers to help homosexual couples have children.
"North Essex Primary Care Trust has been asked to pay toward a surrogate mother. The PCT said it would also have to consider whether to pay toward surrogates for homosexual couples and single people.
"In a report to the PCT, Dr Rebecca Gibbs said: "The majority of applications for surrogacy to be funded on the NHS stem from heterosexual couples, but consideration would need to be taken for any homosexual couple or single person who wished to become a parent through surrogacy."
"The North Essex PCT said no firm decision had been taken on the issue."
The European Court of Human Rights has convicted France of discrimination for preventing a lesbian from adopting a child. She was turned down by French adoption authorities for lack of a male role model in her household.

CATHOLIC MAGAZINE UNDER INVESTIGATION BY CANADIAN HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION OVER COMPLAINT FROM HOMOSEXUAL
From Hilary White via LIFESITE : "Toronto's Catholic Insight magazine has reported they stand accused in an HRC complaint of "targeting homosexuals".
"Catholic Insight is a Catholic political and cultural general interest magazine that regularly and accurately expounds orthodox Catholic teaching, based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, on homosexuality as well as harmful consequences to individual persons and society of the active homosexual "lifestyle".

THE ACCEPTANCE AND NORMALIZATION OF HOMOSEXUALITY WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF HOMOSEXUALS
The increasing acceptance of homosexuality is not only indicative of our moral decline but it also has the potential to "convert" many to full or part time homosexuality. Our children are now exposed to a vast amount of pro-homosexual indoctrination by the sex-obsessed media, by public schools and by peers. All of this exposure is capable of spreading the sin of sodomy like wildfire throughout our culture. This is clearly substantiated by recent census related statistics:
In the state of Utah alone: "According to U.S. Census figures, only 401 gay and lesbian couples declared themselves in 1990. In 2000, that number jumped dramatically to 3,370. The latest findings...reveal 6,503 out gay couples, an increase of over 1,600 percent since 1990.
"Overall, the study showed an increase of 437 percent nation-wide from 1990 to 2006."
"Census Bureau figures showing continuing increases in the number of same-sex couples track with other surveys showing that more Americans than ever before are identifying as lesbian, gay and bisexual." from Qsaltlake
Acceptance of homosexuality clearly emboldens those who are on the fence or simply curious to take the plunge into the abyss.
If the statistics aren't convincing how about biblical proof that homosexuality has the potential of spreading among the populace? Recall the story of the destruction of Sodom. Before God destroyed the city, Abraham approached God and pleaded with Him not to destroy the good with the wicked. God relented and stated that He would not destroy Sodom if 50 good men could be found. But Abraham, knowing that this might be an impossible task, convinced God to reduce the number of men to a mere 10.
As the story goes- 10 good men could not be found in Sodom. However, before God destroyed the city He sent His angels to assess the level of depravity. As Lot fed God's angels his home was surrounded by Sodomites:

SACRAMENTO, Oct. 12 /Christian Newswire/ -- Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed into law two bills requiring all public school instruction and activities to positively portray transsexuality, bisexuality, and homosexuality to children as young as kindergarten. He has also signed bills undermining marriage and infringing upon the moral conscience of business owners, churches, and nonprofit organizations.
Late Friday, Schwarzenegger signed SB 777 (transsexual, bisexual, homosexual indoctrination of schoolchildren by requiring changes to all instruction and activities) and AB 394 (transsexual, bisexual, homosexual indoctrination of students, parents, and teachers via "anti-harassment" training). Signing the bills was a switch for Schwarzenegger, who vetoed nearly the same bills last year, in the midst of his reelection campaign.
"Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those who will introduce them to alternative sexual lifestyles," said Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families (CCF), which helped lead the statewide charge against these bills. "This means children as young as five years old Read More...
Betrayal Blasphemy and Sacrilege: San Francisco Catholic Archbishop George Niederauer Gives Communion to Blasphemous ‘Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’
"He who has dipped his hand into the dish with Me is the one who will betray Me. The Son of Man indeed goes, as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed. It would be better for that man if he had never been born." Matthew 26:23-25
From Lifesite: "The homosexual political movement in Britain was dealt a rare setback this week as a Northern Irish court ruled to curb some parts of notorious regulations. The Sexual Orientation Regulations of the Equality Act, that came into effect in January, would have allowed gay activists in Northern Ireland to prosecute people expressing religious oppositions to the homosexual lifestyle. The judge struck down the harassment provisions appearing in the legislation for Northern Ireland but supported the Regulations in general.
According to the ruling, Christians or other religious people will now be allowed to "express their disapproval" of homosexuality in Read More...
