A MOVING LETTER FROM A PREGNANT NUN WHO WAS RAPED

Here is an extraordinary letter written by a young nun, Sister Lucy Vertrusc, to her mother superior. Sister Vertrusc became pregnant after she was raped in 1995 during the war in the former Yugoslavia. The letter appeared in an Italian newspaper at the behest of her Mother Superior.

"I am Lucy, one of the young nuns raped by the Serbian soldiers. I am writing to you, Mother, after what happened to my sisters Tatiana, Sandria, and me.

U.K. DOCTORS COULD LOSE RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE ON ABORTION

For Christians living in a post-modern secular regime, liberty is quickly eroding. In fact there is not even a pretense to protect religious expression or freedom of conscience. Religion must now be suppressed so that sin may become easy, convenient and guilt free--especially when it comes to deviant sex and killing off one's own offspring.

They would be compelled to send any woman requesting the procedure to an abortion clinic.

The growing number of doctors who have moral objections to abortion - 25 per cent refuse to sign consent forms for it - are furious with the proposal.

The toll that abortion takes on the women who "chooses" to kill her child is immense and is often unknown even to herself. Being immersed in the lies of feminism all of my life-- from phoney Catholic schools, to secular universities, and then the working world--I encountered many women who had had abortions. Every single one of these women were scarred for life from this grave sin. All were self-loathing in one way or another and always seemed to be looking for punishment. This punishment ranged from substance abuse, to eating disorders, to addictions to bad men. If only they had the benefit of confession to relieve them of such an awful burden. I suppose this comes as a surprise to those who are in denial of the evils of abortion but the world's leading expert on fetal pain at the University of Arkansas has concluded that babies in the womb can feel pain from an early stage of development. Such a finding may impact an upcoming vote regarding abortion in the U.K. which could ultimately tighten abortion laws and reduce the time limits to obtain an abortion.

POLAND-- VICTIM OF THE TYRANNY OF THE EUROPEAN COURT OF CONTRIVED HUMAN RIGHTS

The term "human rights" is fast becoming synonymous with the right to abort one's child and engage in sodomy. Just as I have come to loathe and detest the term "women's rights"-- I can't help but feel the same way about so called "human rights" --especially in the context of the European Court of Human Rights.

The Court of Human Rights today confirmed Poland will have to pay compensation to a woman whose vision became impaired after being denied an abortion under Polish laws.

Poland had appealed an order to pay the woman 25,000 euros compensation and 14,000 euros in legal fees.

But the Court ruled that in refusing to allow an abortion, Poland had violated article 8 of the Convention on Human Rights.

As a traditionally Roman Catholic nation, Poland has one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the European Union. Women are permitted to terminate pregnancies only if the pregnancy poses a grave health risk, the foetus is severely deformed or the pregnancy is a result of rape.
