SSPX UNIFICATION PLEASE!!!!

jesus3
The news of the lifting of the excommunications is joyous indeed. I live in a bastion of conservative Catholicism--on a mountain that is known as Catholic or "Trad" hill. The SSPX is bigger here than the FSSP. I however have always attended the FSSP Latin masses and will continue to do so until a full reunification takes place and their priests possess proper jurisdiction.

I await reunification for more than one reason. I must homeschool and cannot send my children to the SSPX school because I am told I would be teaching my children disobedience. There is an SSPX chapel within walking distance from my home but I must drive 13 miles to the FSSP chapel for a 7:00a.m. daily mass. I long for reunification and my hope is that it will take place--sooner rather than later or worse yet, never.

As my pastor pointed out on Sunday with the lifting of the excommunications comes the return of the theological virtue of charity. It is my hope that with this charity comes a softening of wounds and an understanding that Vatican II does not contain Dogma. I have many issues with Vatican II --my biggest with Nostra Aetate. Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God--to say otherwise defies scripture, tradition and common sense.

I pray for all the necessary graces to flow to the Pope and the leaders of the SSPX for a reunification because the future lies with a return to tradition and an abandonment of relativistic views of truth. I welcome your thoughts on the matter in the meantime...
