EUROPE ABANDONS CHRISTIAN HERITAGE & BECOMES "EURABIA"
Fallaci has died at the age of 76. She was an Italian journalist with uncompromising nerve.
Days after September 11th she released a controversial three-page spread in a widely read Italian newspaper denouncing Islam. She expanded upon her article in her best selling book "The Rage and the Pride". Her most recently published book "The Force of Reason" concluded that Europe was dominated by Islam and had surrendered to the "sons of Allah"
She spent her last years attempting to convince the world of the threat to civilization from global jihad.
In a 2005 interview she stated:
"Europe is no longer Europe, it is 'Eurabia,' a colony of Islam, where the Islamic invasion does not proceed only in a physical sense, but also in a mental and cultural sense. Servility to the invaders has poisoned democracy, with obvious consequences for the freedom of thought, and for the concept itself of liberty."
"You cannot survive if you do not know the past. We know why all the other civilizations have collapsed--from an excess of welfare, of richness, and from lack of morality, of spirituality."
"The moment you give up your principles, and your values . . . the moment you laugh at those principles, and those values, you are dead, your culture is dead, your civilization is dead. Period."
Prior to her death she seemed to be returning to her Catholic roots. She admired Pope Benedict...
"I feel less alone when I read the books of Ratzinger."
"I am an atheist, and if an atheist and a pope think the same things, there must be something true. It's that simple! There must be some human truth here that is beyond religion."
She also quoted from the Pope's essay entitled "If Europe Hates Itself"...
"The West reveals . . . a hatred of itself, which is strange and can only be considered pathological; the West . . . no longer loves itself; in its own history, it now sees only what is deplorable and destructive, while it is no longer able to perceive what is great and pure."
She had been sued by various European Muslim groups who attempted to silence her criticism calling it "hate speech". She was to stand trial this December for violating the Italian Penal Code by "villifying" Islam. She had to be guarded around the clock because she was condemned by many as a “perverse women.” according to the Koran.
